Established in 1886, Christ Memorial Parish School was one of West Philadelphia’s premier Christian schools. It was re-founded in 1996 as Christ Academy, with an emphasis on classical, Christian education. When the tower of Christ Memorial Reformed Episcopal Church collapsed in 2004, the building sustained major damage and Christ Academy moved to Grace Reformed Episcopal Church in Collingdale, PA. In its new location the Academy found its greatest ministry among middle and high school boys. We presently serve grades six through twelve and our student body includes many international students from West Africa. Our students come primarily from north, west and south Philadelphia and various parts of Delaware County. They have chosen Christ Academy for its emphasis on classical education, high academic goals, small class size, individualized attention, and Christian worldview. Our primary focus has always been the cultivation of godly character and the formation of a consistent Christian worldview.
